John R. Korb, age 65 of Clintonville, passed away Friday afternoon, April 24, 2020 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Appleton.
John Robert Korb was born August 22, 1954 in New London, son to the late Arnold and Ruth (Yaeger) Korb. He graduated from Clintonville High School and attended Fox Valley Technical College. John worked as a custodian for many years at Clintonville Senior High School until his retirement. He was united in marriage to Jacqueline Johnson on November 11, 2013, who preceded him in death on September 9, 2017. John lived in the Clintonville and Marion areas his entire life. John really enjoyed the outdoors; you could find him hunting in his younger years and growing Tulips and various vegetables in his garden. He was a quiet soul who would do anything for his friends and family.
John is survived by: sisters, Edith (David) Krueger, Appleton and Ethel Pasch, Appleton; a nephew, Scott (Mary) Pasch, Menasha; great-niece and nephew, Samantha Pasch and Ryan Verstegen; as well as John’s loyal Black Labrador, “Bat Man”. John was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jacquline, and a brother-in-law, James Pasch.
John’s memorial service will be held privately at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville with the Rev. Brian Crocker officiating. Inurnment will take place at Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville. An online guestbook is available at eberhardtstevenson.com.
