James D. Leiby, age 75, Appleton, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 28, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on April 13, 1946, in New London, son of the late Donald and Edna (Weisshahn) Leiby. On March 27, 1971, James was united in marriage to Kathleen Kelly in New London. He served his country in the US Navy. James worked at Theda Clark for 25 years, then Bellin Hospital for eight years. He then started his own business, Spray Pump Repair Center, which James ran for the past 12 years. He was always there to help his friends and family whenever they needed him and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen; children, Eric Leiby (fiancée Mindy Roever), Jodie (Scott) Wienandt, and Jason (Kelly) Leiby; grandchild Skye Leiby; siblings, Nancy (Jay) Larsen, Mary (Terry) Dorschner, and Charlie (Rosie) Leiby. James is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Funeral services for James will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. noon at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. www.clinehansonfuneralhome.com
