Kimberly Sue Harms, age 63, of Iola, Wisconsin, gave her all, as she always did, battling COVID19, which ended her journey on earth way too early on November 8, 2021.

Kim will always be remembered by all who had the privilege to know her as one of the most genuine, kind, compassionate, talented, and driven people they would ever meet. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. Kim was born in Champagne, Illinois, to Roland Dean and Mary Ann Miles on March 15, 1958. Kim married Dennis Harms in Rockford, Illinois on February 27, 1982. Denny has not only lost a loving wife but a true partner in life, whether in business or one of their many pursuits. As Denny put it, “I’ve lost my best friend.” Kim had so many talents, and this will not do her justice. Her many accomplishments include being a school teacher, a corporate jet pilot, and an entrepreneur with Denny, being regarded as the best Chrysler Woody restorers in the country. Kim was afraid of no challenge, being a pilot in traditionally a man’s world or jumping on her Kubota tractor and rearranging granite rocks and boulders in her garden. Kim was an avid sewer and crafter, making many treasured gifts for family and friends. Kim was also an avid gardener and home improvement guru, able to wire, tile, drywall, and engage in woodworking. Kim will be missed by anyone who met her and got to spend time with her, but especially by her little brother, Robert J. Miles, and his children, Boyd, Mabry, and Briley. Kim was adored by her nieces and nephews who enjoyed spending time with her at their cabin in Canada or their home in Iola, Wisconsin. All time spent with Kim was special. Kim had too many friends to list. Due to her earnest and genuine personality, anyone she met became a friend. She enjoyed time spent with various groups in Rockford and Iola.

Kim is survived by her husband, Denny; brother, Rob; nieces, Mabry and Briley Miles; nephew, Boyd (Lenzi) Miles and their sons, Kase and Braiden.

Due to Kim’s love of upbeat and positive gatherings, a Celebration of Life will be held in the spring, the season of renewal and hope. Kim, you touched a lot of people in such a great way. You will be missed, and you are loved.
