Lois A. Webie, age 82, of Scandinavia passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.

She was born on January 19, 1940 in Iola, Wisconsin to Alvin and Esther (Gregerson) Melby. On April 22, 1961, she married Jack Webie at the Scandinavia Lutheran Church. Lois was the pianist for the Church Choir. She was active at the church for many years where she taught Sunday School, was the secretary for SLCW, worked with the church food pantry and was a member of the Hellestad Circle. She volunteered for many years at the Scandinavia Public Library. She worked as an Election Poll Worker. She babysat in her home for many years. She was loved very much by her family and will be missed every day.

Lois is survived by her husband, Jack; daughter, Maria (Jon) Ernst; three sons: Mark (Kathy) Webie, Matthew (Tasha) Webie, Paul Webie; grandchildren: Amanda (Greg) Lasky, Caitlin (Kyle) Douglas, Stephanie (Nathan) Chestnut, Zachary Webie, Jacob (Elizabeth) McMullen, Amelia Webie, Aida Webie, Jacob Webie, Austin Webie; great-grandchildren: Jaxon, Everly, Emmet, Jaxton, Peyton; brothers, David (Judy) Melby, Gary Melby; sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Melby and Jeannette (Robert) Lustro. She was preceded in death by her parents, a great-grandson, Scott Gabriel Lasky and brother, Kenneth Melby.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at the Scandinavia Lutheran Church with Reverend David Eisele officiating. Visitation will be held Friday February 4, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Scandinavia Lutheran Church in Scandinavia and also at 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. on Saturday at the church. The wearing of a mask is optional. Interment will take place in the Scandinavia Lutheran Cemetery in Scandinavia. Voie Funeral Home of Iola is assisting the family with arrangements.
