Rosanna M. Krenke, age 91, died on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Bethany Home in Waupaca.
She was born on July 24, 1930 in Amherst, WI, the daughter of the late Ora and Norma (West) Brooks. On November 18, 1950, Rosanna married Robert Krenke at St. John Lutheran Church in East Bloomfield. They farmed the family farm and milked cows for over 62 years. Bob preceded her in death on May 13, 2013. In addition to working on the farm, Rosanna also worked as a baker for Brasch’s House of Cheese in Fremont for 34 years before retiring. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in East Bloomfield. She loved watching the birds and gardening.
Rosanna is survived by her daughter, Cynda (Tom) Thompson, Waukesha, WI; three grandsons, Jeremy (Jani) Thompson, TX; Jeffrey (special friend, Stacey Potter) Thompson, TX; and James Thompson, Waukesha; four great-grandchildren: Callan, Cort, Hailey and Collin; a brother, Dodridge (Leah) Brooks, Fremont; a sister, Geraldine Schneekloth, Waupaca; two sisters-in-law, Caroline Brooks and Karen Schuelke; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Rae; two brothers, Ora Brooks Jr, and infant brother, Gaylord, and a brother-in-law, Donald Schuelke.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church; Pastor Paul Fritz will officiate. Burial will be in East Bloomfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. Lewin Funeral Home of Fremont is assisting the family.
